Details Show Dragon Ball Z x adidas EQT Support Mid ADV “Shenron”

Inspired by Shenron the magical dragon, this iteration of the EQT Support Mid ADV sports multiple shades of green throughout its Primeknit upper to represent the villain’s snake-like body. Shenron’s eyes are represented by the red accents and Japanese characters that border the midsole. The midsole detailing continues with a nod to his underbelly through hits of yellow. Grey scale-texture above the midsole and heel tab mimic the dragon’s tough skin. Dragon Ball Z insoles complete the look of the vibrant sneaker, which comes in DBZ-themed box.

On September 29, Adidas Hole takes on their new collaboration with Dragon Ball Z – one of the year’s most prominent sneaker collaborators, resulting in seven new sneakers inspired by characters from Dragon Ball Z. The shoes will be released over the coming months and centered around the meetings between Goku and Frieza, Gohan and Celle and Majin Buu and Vegeta. The collaboration culminates last year with the release of a new edition of EQT Support Mid ADV inspired by the Dragon, Shenlong – just recently, new, detailed images appeared.

New member of the EQT family

EQT Support The Mid ADV model was released earlier this year and is one of the newest members of adidas’ EQT family. It is inspired by the original EQT Support, but with a new sole and a new, modern upper part of Primeknit.

Inspired by Shenlong
For the cooperation with Dragon Ball Z, the adidas dressed model has a green top with hose skin panels, which of course is inspired by Shenlong’s green scolding. At the heel it is dressed in a yellow color that matches the stomach’s stomach, and at the sole it is fitted with a red color, which of course symbolizes Shenlong’s red eyes. All in all, EQT Support Mid ADV has a design that both provides clear associations to Shenlong, but also looks tremendously good – and that is the high profile collaboration worthy of value.

Detailed pictures of Dragon Ball Z x adidas Goku and Frieza

Goku meets Frieza on two new releases of ZX 500 RM and YUNG-1 respectively.

After more than half a year’s rumors, the hugely-discussed meeting between Adidas Originals and Dragon Ball Z has finally become a reality. Adidas has confirmed the first part of the cooperation, which symbolizes the match between Son Goku and Frieza. The meeting has been embodied in the form of two new releases of the ZX 500 RM and YUNG-1, respectively, and these have just appeared more detailed images.

Unique sneakers

For the new collaboration with Dragon Ball Z, Adidas has chosen a handful of their latest models to raise awareness about them, but equally to allow the collaboration to be made up of unique sneakers that do not recall previous releases.

Classic with modern design

The YUNG-1 and ZX 500 RM are both models that come from this year, but on the other hand, they have designs inspired by classic 80’s and 90’s designs. The ZX 500 RM is an old model from 1984, which Adidas has chosen to update with a new silhouette and Boost sole while YUNG-1 is a relaunch of the Falcon Dorf model from the 90’s. Thus, they can be described as two models that balance between classical and modern design – which also fits well into the Dragon Bal Z universe.

Collectables

The first two Dragon Ball Z sneakers have a very successful design that effortlessly symbolizes the two characters – Goku and Frieza. In addition to color selection, it is expressed in the shape of various details on the shoes. Yung 1 “Frieza” is equipped with a glossy leather panel that reflects Frieza’s smooth skin, and the ZX 500 RM “Goku” features the outline of a small “Flying Nombus “Shake on the upper part.

In addition, both models feature a co-branded insole and come with a unique shoe box that makes them unique collectors.

Lander later in the month

For the same reason, there are no doubts that the two Dragon Ball Z x adidas Originals sneakers will be very difficult to get on when they are released later this month.
